In Pictures: Filmfare Awards 2016

The 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards Red Carpet was a star-studded affair. From Deepika Padukone to Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Sonam, Varun and Madhuri, Salman and Shah Rukh also attended the most coveted award ceremony of the industry. 

To no one's surprise, Bajirao Mastani won the award for the Best Film and Sanjay Leela Bhansali won a Filmfare after 9 years for the Best Director. Ranveer Singh was the marked winner for his role in Bajirao Mastani as Bajirao, but surprisingly Deepika Padukone won the Best Actress award for Piku and not Bajirao Mastani. And this was not all for Piku, Amitabh Bachchan won the Best Supporting Actor award for PIku while Best Actor (Female) was Priyanka Chopra as Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani.
