Raees Vs Kaabil Advance Booking: Guess Which Film Has Edge Over The Other

With less than five days remaining for what can only be described as the battle of the Aces, theater owners, multiplex franchises, distributors and producers have all put the weight on accelerator. As most theaters opened the advance booking a couple of days ago, the results have started to show a trend. While audiences have been bracing up to witness the clash on the first day itself, it’s a tussle as far as the number of shows are concerned.

Going by the current trends, single screens have pulled up the window first and it’s Raees leading there just marginally. However, with the rest of the shows especially in multiplexes yet to declare their shows, Kaabil holds a solid chance.

Delhi’s vintage Sheila theatre that is not largely known for its advance bookings, made its seats available for Kaabil. What may have surprised even the owners themselves, it made a cash booking of twenty thousand in the first few hours itself. If anything this trend suggests is that both films will fight a close battle.

While the Shah Rukh Khan starrer given the humongous hype will attract more audiences and possibly more shows as well, the Hrithik starrer has an edge given its short runtime. A lot would now depend on the early reports that are expected to come in by Monday and Tuesday. Much as they try, the pre-release buzz is only going to sail the film through the opening weekend. Following that, content would be the king.
