Review: (Irudhi Suttru)Sala Khadoos Is One Of The Rare Gems In Tamil Cinema

R.Madhavan is back in association with Rajkumar Hirani with (Irudhi Suttru) Sala Khadoos starring newcomer Ritika Singh opposite to him.

The film is a sports drama which shows the relationship between a teacher and his prodigy. It shows Madhavan in one of his most intense roles ever where he loses his job and becomes a bit cynical. There on he is forced to train an unskilled fisherwoman in boxing. Sala Khadoos is all about the relationship of a mentor and his student which shows the agitation and evolution between them as characters.

Review: (Irudhi Suttru)Sala Khadoos Is One Of The Rare Gems In Tamil Cinema

Sala Khadoos has released in Tamil and Hindi with separate music albums for both.

The first review of the Tamil version of the movie is out and Sala Khadoos has been well received by the audience.

MJ Karthik Kumar says, "Irudhi Suttru is the kind of film that Tamil audiences rarely get to watch on screen. Sports drama are not often get made in Tamil and with a woman filmmaker at the helm, the project has received a new dimension to the overall outcome. The film narrates a genuinely moving story of how an impulsive, innocent fisherwoman becomes the world boxing champion under the tutelege of a cantankerous coach, played brilliantly by Madhavan."

The fact that a female director has attempted this movie is being appreciated by the viewers. The fantastic background score by Santhosh Narayanan is alluring the fans. Reviews suggest that sports lovers will love the movie and Irudhi Suttru is one of the rare gems to have come out in Tamil cinema.
