And if God is listening to all the Shanatics' prayers, Shahid and Mira are expected to make a glorious appearance on Jhalak! We just can’t wait to see them dance in all the high definition glory of television. Because let's face it, we're all tired of gazing at the grainy phone camera videos from their sangeet!
 

Due to Shahid’s work commitments to the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaja as a judge, the couple will give their honeymoon a miss for now!

The couple will now head to Mumbai for yet another grand reception for Bollywood celebs which is scheduled for 12^th July, 2015. You've seen the wedding card and secretly marked in it on your phone calendar! 

Amidst all the heartbreaks happening worldwide, Shahid and Mira’s dance videos have gone viral from their sangeet ceremony where they danced with family on songs like Galla Goodiyaan, Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, Mauja Hi Mauja, Dhan Te Naa and Saj Dhaj Ke.

Shahid and Mira got hitched in a private ceremony at West Green farmhouse in Gurgaon on July 7, 2015 in the morning. Shahid and Mira's Wedding Album shows that the couple had a fairly simple wedding where Shahid sported a simple kurta pyjama, while Mira wore a simple choodidaar kurta suit with a heavy dupatta in minimal make up! 

Shahid and Mira made their first public appearance at The Oberoi, Gurgaon where the lovely bride dazzled in Anamika Khanna’s pink creation along with better half Shahid wearing a Kunal Rawal sherwani!

Shahid and Mira later headed to their grand reception party at the same hotel at night where about 500 guests were in attendance.

PS: Shamira is so much better than Shira. Let's stick to that.

The Wedding

Shahid Kapoor tied the knot with Mira Rajput, the muhurat was supposedly scheduled for 11 am! It got over around 12.30 pm.

Sangeet and Wedding Updates

According to sources, after the night's gala sangeet ceremony, Shahid moved to Rajokri, where the wedding has to take place, and Mira stayed back at her Chhattarpur Farmhouse. The rest of the guests proceeded from The Oberoi in Gurgaon to the wedding venue!

Shahid's family reaches The Oberoi

Parents Pankaj Kapoor and his wife Supriya Pathak along with their children stayed at The Oberoi, Gurgaon where the wedding dinner was scheduled for tonight at 7 pm! They arrived with the baraat on July 6 in the morning as it poured in the capital.

His Shahid's wedding invitation was kept understated on Shahid's request which contained specially curated tea and honey from a well known tea boutique in Delhi.
