Bahubali fans kept waiting for the answer to that one question that haunted them for two years —Why did Kattappa kill Bahubali? Random guesses and multiple theories about why the loyal servant stabbed Prabhas’ character, were being discussed online, but no prediction came close to the actual reason.

Now that the mystery has been solved with filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali 2: The Conclusion [released in April] revealing the much touted climax on the big screen, fans can breathe a sigh of relief. While the film continues to break records and inches towards becoming the highest grossing Indian film ever, there’s this one genius who is having the last laugh. Well, why not!

This Bangalore-based guy, Sushant Dahal, a student of Sambhram Institute of Technology, predicted the reason almost two years back and posted his answer on Quora on July 28, 2015. Believe it or not, he was bang on with his answer. He predicted that Bhallaldeva [Rana Daggubati] would conspire against Bahubali and get Sivagami [Ramya Krishna] [his mother] to order Kattappa [Sathyaraj] to kill him. Don’t believe us? Going viral now, his post has 121.1k views and 911 upvotes at the time of filing the story. Sushant was not only accurate in guessing the reason behind Kattappa killing Bahubali but narrated it in the exact sequence as it is shown in the film, Bahubali 2.
