5 Reasons Why We Think Raabta Will Be The Reincarnation Drama We Have Been Waiting For

Raabta is finally going to hit the screens across the nation tomorrow and the fans are fairly excited for this one. The film is the first big release for the month of June and has made it through to this day after a lot of controversies weighing it down. There has been excitement about the film since the first look came out in 2016 with Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon posing in a striking photo shoot together. Well all said and done the film is now controversy free and releasing tomorrow and here is what we are expecting from the film.

Performances – Raabta stars M.S. Dhoni actor Sushant Singh Rajput and the Heropanti fame Kriti Sanon, both make a sizzling hot on screen couple and since the film is a love story, it makes their chemistry makes the film look really promising. Add a promising actor like Raj Kumar Rao to the equation and villain like Jim Sarbh we say that the film is definitely secure performance wise.

Direction  - The film is the directorial debut of Bollywood producer Dinesh Vijan who has been associated with some unique love stories in the past like Finding Fanny, Love Aaj Kal and Cocktail. Raabta is his first attempt at directing a film and it looks well made attempt that has kept us by the hook till now.  It a really crucial project for the director we hope he’ll sail through.

Story – After many attempts at reincarnation stories in Bollywood, we have yet another one here which also seems like just another story where the estranged lovers reuniting in the afterlife. But the story has its own hooks, for instance Jim Sarbh’s role in the story and why love is difficult. Well it is unfolds tomorrow and we will have all our answers.

Music – Like every other Bollywood film, music has a crucial role to play in this one and we are pretty impressed with Raabta’s album by now. An item number by Deepika, a groovy dance number like Main Tera Boyfriend and a perfect peppy love song like IK Vaari Aa, the makers have got the film right and we are hope that the film’s story is well complemented by it.

Over all buzz – The film so far has been in the headlines for Sushant and Kriti’s crazy chemistry and their rumored off screen love affair, the controversy over it’s story with the makers of the Telugu blockbuster Magadheera and singer J Star suing the film over music rights for Main Tera Boyfriend. The film has sailed through it all and maintained a positive buzz around it and the music has just added to the mix.
