Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah completes completes 2000 episodes and enters its ninth year!

The massively and popular Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah just completed 2000 episodes and continues its run as the longest running comedy show on Indian television.

The show which also embarked on its 9th year, secured the prestigious title in the Limca Book of World Records last month.

So obviously the team of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are in a celebratory mode, with the team hosting a special cake cutting ceremony for the ocassion.

The show first appeared on SAB TV on July 29, 2008 and has been a fan favourite ever since.
