3 Upcoming Tom Cruise Movies That We Cannot Wait To Watch

Seasons change, years change, decades change, yet Tom Cruise stays one of the biggest movie stars in the world. Proving his worth time and time again, the actor is not the one to shy away from a challenge. Perhaps the biggest example is that the 54-year-old actor is one most dignified action stars there is. 

But action blockbusters doesn't negate his acting talent. As the three-time Oscar-nominated actor elevates the roles that might seem two-dimensional in the hands of a lesser actor. 

And so he continues to make the movies that aim to be both widely loved and appreciated from a technical point of view.

The Mummy

Last year, the internet went into meltdown when it was revealed that Tom Cruise has been hired to resurrect the much-loved Mummy franchise. In addition to Tom Cruise, the next year release also stars Annabelle Wallis, Sofia Boutella, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance and Russell Crowe. 

The film is scheduled for June 9, 2017 release.

American Made 

In a dramatic turn, Tom Cruise will play the role of  Barry Seal, a former drug trafficker who becomes an informant in order to work for the CIA. The film will be directed by Doug Liman, who previously collaborated with the actor on Edge of Tomorrow.

The film is scheduled for September 29, 2017 release.

Mission Impossible VI

After the critical and commercial success of the last two installments of the Mission Impossible franchise, the sixth installment was pretty much inevitable. The film will be directed by Christopher McQuarrie and will also star Henry Cavill (popularly known for playing the Superman).

The film will likely release in the summer of 2018.
