Veere Di Wedding

In her latest interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan apparently leaked the story of Veere Di Wedding. She said, “I’m possessive about my friends and this film reflects that side of me. It’s the story of four girls who attend my wedding and all the dhamaal that it involves. It showcases women and their emotions. It’s the right time to do this kind of film.”

Toilet Ek Prem Katha

It seems like the plot of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha might be inspired from the life of Priyanka Bharti. This 19 year old ran away from her in-laws house two days after her marriage, because she couldnot defecate in the open. She gave rise to a revolution not just in her small village in UP, but in many parts of the nation. She came back to her in-laws house once the toilet was built.

Jab Harry Met Sejal

Jab Harry Met Sejal’s story was leaked/predicted by KRK much before we got to see the fifth mini trail. The story is simple! Anushka, who is engaged to someone already, goes on a trip where SRK is her guide. She returns only to find that she’s lost her engagement ring. She then goes back to look for it with SRK and falls in love in the process. She ultimately finds that ring in her purse.

Ittefaq

Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming movie along with Akshaye Khanna is the remake of 1969’s Ittefaq which starred megastar Rajesh Khanna in the lead. It is the story of a man who is a painter and is married to a rich woman. One night, during a fight with her, she ends up destroying his painting and he tells he’ll kill her. He leaves the house only to find that she’s dead. Police suspects that he killed her on the statement of his wife’s sister. He then elopes to a rich woman’s house where he finds another dead body and threatens the woman to not tell the police about him. This woman’s husband dies in the bathroom and police suspects Rajesh again. At the end it turns out that he was innocent and this woman and his wife’s sister are the real killers.

Haseena Parker's Biopic

Haseena is the younger sister of Dawood Ibrahim, who is hailed as the underworld don and India’s most wanted fugitive. While Dawood is the third of the 12 siblings, Haseena was the seventh sibling. Haseena got involved in the underworld matters when her husband Ibrahim Parkar was shot down in 1991 by Arun Gawli and gang.  The infamous JJ Hospital shootout was executed by Dawood Ibrahim to avenge the death of his dead brother in law. Haseena ran her business from the posh Gordon Hall Apartments in Nagpada, where she shifted soon after her husband’s murder. She declared to the police and courts that she wasn’t in touch with her brother Dawood Ibrahim but soon took over seeing are Mumbai business for him. It will be interesting to see how Shraddha Kapoor will justify this role.
