We Are Waiting For Kalki Koechlin and Naseeruddin Shah's 'Waiting'

The trailer of Anu Menon's film 'Waiting', featuring Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki Koechlin is out. And from the first look of the film, it looks exquisite and lovely. Though the first thing that crosses our mind is the odd pairing but it is not what it looks like. And we were glad that we were proven wrong.

The film opens with Naseeruddin getting ready and leaving to meet someone in the hospital and similar is the case with Kalki. The two of them meet in a hospital meeting room. Kalki's husband and Naseeruddin Shah's wife, have slipped into a vegetative state, presumably in separate incidents. The conversation that starts between Naseeruddin Shah and Kalki is what the two strangers will talk about, but ultimately the two get close and comfortable with each other. Sharing the pain makes it easier and the two start spending more time with each other.  

From what it appears, the film will reflect upon moving on, learning from mistakes, leading a new life yet waiting endlessly. But it's not that easy, is it? And that also becomes the point of conflict between the two actors.
