Shaheer Sheikh- Ruchikaa Kapoor welcome their first child- a baby girl?

Shaheer Sheikh and Ruchikaa Kapoor had been expecting their first child together and just a few weeks back, they celebrated a baby shower with their close friends. Now, it looks like the duo has embraced parenthood.

According to a report in Bollywood Life, Ruchikaa and Shaheer welcomed their first child- a baby girl on Friday, 10th September. The elated parents are yet to share the good news with fans and have not made any comment about it yet.

It was back in June that the couple confirmed that they are expecting their first child. In a post shared on his social media, the Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi actor wrote, “Happiness is home made.. #betterTogether” The rumours of her pregnancy had been doing the rounds since May though. The couple had made their relationship official in 2020 and it was in November that they revealed they are engaged. Shortly after that, the duo was spotted outside a court and they opted for a simple court marriage. Talking about their simple wedding, Shaheer had earlier told a portal, “I lost two close relatives, who lived in Jammu, to COVID-19, so at the moment, I am a bit scared and anxious for the safety of my parents and everyone else. I would like my parents to come to Mumbai, but I wonder whether it would be safe for them to travel at the moment. I never wanted a big fat wedding, of course, my parents wanted us to get married in a grand manner, but I like things to be simple.” Shaheer is going to be seen as Manav in Pavitra Rishta 2 opposite Ankita Lokhande.
