After being a show stealer in Badhaai Ho in 2018, Neena Gupta has been flooded with movie offers. The actor par excellence, who was only a little while ago seen asking for work in Bollywood, has now signed on to be a part of several Bollywood films.

Back in 2017, Neena Gupta shared a post on Instagram writing, ‘I live in Mumbai and working am a good actor looking for good parts to play’. Her post left many fans surprised and many from the film industry including Priyanka Chopra were inspired. Everything changed for the actress after the film Badhaai Ho released where she nailed it by playing the role of a middle-aged pregnant mother. Here are all the film that came to the actress after the success of Badhaai Ho.

Sooryavanshi – The makers have announced that Neena Gupta will play Akshay Kumar’s mother in the cop drama which also stars Katrina Kaif. The film will see Neena and Akshay share an interesting relationship which is a big part of the story. Sooryavanshi is scheduled to release in December 2019.

Panga – Directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwary Panga is a film that would focus on female Kabaddi players. The cast of the film includes Kangana Ranaut, Neena Gupta, Jassi Gill, Richa Chaddha and Pankaj Tripathi. The has been scheduled for release on 24 January 2020.

Gwalior – Neena Gupta has teamed up with Sanjay Mishra for the film, where the actress will be seen playing a housewife named Manju Mishra. The film is about a monetary crisis in the middle-class family and how they go about solving the problem. The social thriller started shooting in November 2018 but has not found a release date yet.

Although we are excited about these movies in Neena Gupta’s kitty we certainly deserve to see the actress more frequently in movies.
