Batla House Day 9 Box-Office: The John Abraham Starrer Collects 70 Crores!

John Abraham repeated what he did last year as well. The actor, who had clashed with Akshay Kumar’s Gold on Independence Day 2018 with Satyameva Jayate repeated the pattern. So this year we had his film Batla House pitted against Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal. But unlike last year, where both the films did tremendously well, this year Akshay got a one up over John.

So Batla House is going steady at the box-office, but is not trending as well as Satyameva Jayater did. The film opened fairly well and has maintained a steady business throughout Week 1. On Day 9, i.e., on its second Friday, the film collected 4.15 crores. The total collection of the film is now 69.99 crores.

Well, given that there is no big release this week and with Janmashtami , the film should see a good collection on the second weekend. Whether it would be able to cross the 100 crore mark is yet to be seen.

Though the film is not doing as well as his last Independence Day release, Satyameva Jayate, it is definitely doing better than his last release of 2019, Romeo Akbar Walter, which flopped. This film is moving towards being a hit.
