Bhoot Day 1 Box-Office: Vicky Kaushal’s Horror Film Opens At 5.10 Crores INR, Becomes His Third Biggest Opener

Bhoot: The Haunted Ship released yesterday in theatres across the nation. The film is Dharma’s second horror outing after Kaal and with Vicky Kaushal sailing this ship, expectations were bound to be there. The opening day numbers for the film is already here and well, it is exactly what the trade analysts had predicted.

Bhoot: The Haunted Ship opened to 5.10 crores INR on Friday. The film good a good response from the mass audiences and thanks to the promotions, the film opened average at the box-office. But given the genre could have done well, especially because there was partial holiday in many parts of the nation due to Maha Shivratri.

Well, given the film has received mixed reviews, the biz might be affected. Also, the fact that Ayushmann Khurrana’s Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan on the theatres along with this film, the competition that the film would face even on the first weekend might be greater. Bhoot really needs to pick up pace on Saturday and Sunday to be able to stay afloat, but given the mixed reviews, that might be a problem.
