Guess Which Year Has Seen The Most Number Of Blockbusters In Bollywood Since 2006?
Say what you will, but 2018 has truly been one heck of a year for Bollywood lovers. Just nine months into the year, Bollywood has already given four blockbusters with Padmaavat, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Sanju and more recently Stree. Not just that, there are heavyweight released like Thugs of Hindostan, Zero, 2.0 and Simmba which are all probable blockbusters.

2006
Dhoom 2, Lagey Raho Munnabhai and Krrish were the blockbusters of 2006.
2007
There was only one blockbuster this year which was Om Shanti Om
2008
This year saw two high voltage blockbuster with Ghajini and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Ghajini incidentally was also the first Bollywood film to collect 100 crores at the box office.
2009
2009 saw the unprecedented success of 3 Idiots which was the first film to collect 200 crores at the domestic box-office
2010
With Dabbang and Golmaal 3, 2010 was surely a memorable year.
2011
Salman Khan was the undisputed champion of box-office this year with Bodyguard and Ready being the only two blockbusters of the year
2012
While Akshay got his blockbuster with Rowdy Rathore, with Dabbang 3 and Ek Tha Tiger Salman continued his winning streak.
2013
This was a winning year at the box office with 4 blockbusters including Dhoom 3, Chennai Express, Krish 3 and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
2014
Again the year belonged to Aamir Khan with PK creating the 300 crores club in box-office and Salman also delivered a blockbuster with Kick.
2015
Yet again it was Salman's Bajraangi Bhaijaan that stormed the domestic box-office, while Tanu Weds Manu Returns turned out to be an unexpected blockbuster.
2016
Wrestling and Khans were the flavor of the year. While Salman kept his winning streak strong with Sultan, Aamir yet again broke all records with Dangal.
2017
This year would forever be remembered for the phenomenon that was Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. However, Tiger Zinda Hai and Golmaal Again also made their presence felt.
