Kabir Singh Box Office: Shahid Kapoor Starrer Stays Rock Solid On Day 9, Crosses 150 Crores Mark

The box-office storm that Shahid Kapoor has started with Kabir Singh is showing no sign of dying down.  After giving Shahid Kapoor the biggest solo opening of his career with Rs. 20.21 crores, Kabir Singh has smashed one record after another and the film is going rock solid even on its 9^th day despite facing competition from Ayushmann Khurrana’s Article 15 which also picking up speed after a considerably slow start.

On its 9^th Day, which was again a Saturday Kabir Singh minted Rs. 17.10 crores which are a big feat to achieve even for some of the most successful films. With this, the total collection of Kabir Singh now stands at 163. 73 crores. If the stride continues, there is every possibility that Kabir Singh will hit the coveted 200 crores mark. Made on a budget of about Rs. 60 crores, Kabir Singh is already one of the most profitable films of the year.

While Kabir Singh has maintained its box-office domination on the face of Anubhav Sinha’s Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15, the Sunday collection of the film can take a setback due to the much-awaited India v/s England match in the on-going ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. In the coming weeks, Kabir Singh may face competition from films like Spider-Man: Far From Home which is releasing on July 4^th and Hrithik Roshan’s much-hyped Super 30 which will hit the theatres on July 12^th.
