Tanhaji V/S Chhapaak Day 3 Box-Office: Ajay Devgn Starrer To Become The First 100 Crore Club Movie, Deepika Padukone’s Film Needs Push!

The weekend box-office numbers of both the Friday releases are here. Last Friday, Deepika Padukone starrer Chhapaak clashed with Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior at the box-office. Even though the former had been a mid-range film compared to Tanhaji, whose budget had shot up due to the elaborate VFX , the difference in their weekend biz s huge. While Tanhaji has taken the box-office by a storm, Chhapaak needs a boost!

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has collected a good 26.08 crores INR on Sunday as compared to 20.57 crores INR on Saturday. The total collection of the film has gone to 61.75 crores INR. Just as expected, the film crossed 50 crores with ease over the weekend and if the film keeps up with the same trend, then it will cross the 100 crore mark by the end of Week 1. In fact, this would, for sure, be the first 100 crore film of the year.

Chhapaak, on the other hand, has collected 7.35 crores INR on Day 3, i.e., on Sunday as compared to 6.90 crores INR on Saturday. The rise in its collection has not been significant. The film has been doing well only on the multiplexes of Tier 1 cities and while the collection is good, it is not great!
