Hasmukh Trailer: Vir Das To Play A Stand-up Comic Who Needs To Taste Blood To Crack Jokes!

This is a dark time that we are going through. The coronavirus pandemic has caused the world to go to a standstill and almost everyone all over the globe has been forced to stay at home to contain the spread of the virus. In such rimes, the only respite that we have is the presence of our families around, and the only source of entertainment seems to be the OTT platforms that are not just offering a plethora of content at our disposal, but also have new and fresh content up for grabs as well! And well, if you had been waiting to watch something new, then Netflix has a brand new series up for grabs! We are talking about Vir Das starrer Hasmukh, where he will play a stand-up comic!

That’s quite like him in real life, isn’t it? Well, the only difference is that, to get his on-stage mojo, Hasmukh needs to taste blood. Yes, he is also the serial killer who has to kill someone to get his comic timing perfect on-screen. But he isn’t a ‘bad man’ par se, so he kills only the corrupt!  Quite a concept, we must say!

Vir Das plays the lead and it is so good to see him back as an actor! He looks perfect in the role and the way he says, “Hasiye na, koi mar gaya hai kya?” would stir you up.

There’s also Ranveer Shorey playing his manager! The combo of these two actors look deadly, and there’s no pun intended!
