Shashi Kapoor Passes Away At The Age Of 79

One of the most acclaimed actors of Bollywood who gave memorable performances in films like Deewar, Shaan , Satyam Shivam Sundaram and Silsila, Shashi Kapoor breathed his last today. The actor was 79 years old and was the youngest of the 3 children of Prithviraj Kapoor, elder 2 being Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor.

He was the recipient of Dadasaheb Phalke Award and Padma Bhushan Award along with a number of major awards that he received in his long and illustrious career. His nephew Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news of his passing.
