    Michael Richards came to the limelight with his role as ‘Cosmo Kramer’ in the sitcom ‘Seinfeld’ and also appearing in many films like ‘So I married an Axe Murderer’, ‘Problem Child’, ‘Trial and Error’. But his career showed a meltdown with his racist comments during a live show in 2006. Richard stopped his show in the middle and turned towards a member of the audience and made many racist rants on him and used the N- word a number of times. Richard left the stage without completing the show.


    On the Late Show with ‘David Letterman’, Richards apologized for what he did and also said that he wasn’t a racist. Well with little TV appearances, his career has not been full-fledged since.


    Charlie Sheen

    Charlie Sheen was once seen as a prominent and promising young actor with his great performances in films like ‘Wall Street’, ‘The Three Musketeers’, ‘Hot Shots’. Starring in ‘Two and a Half Men’ gave Sheen immense success but soon he saw a downfall in his career. Sheen had a stroke after he overdosed himself on cocaine and he was hospitalized. Drugs were not the only problem, Sheen was also arrested for domestic violence on his then-wife, Brooke Mueller. Sheen was also under investigation by LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) unit when he threatened to kill former his fiancee, Scottine Ross.

    Drug addiction, violence and his personal life making headlines shook up his career. His derogatory comments about Chuck Lorre, the creator of ‘Two and a Half Men’ made him lose his contract for the show.

She also made her mark in the several movies like ‘What a Girl Wants’, ‘She’s the Man’, ‘Easy A’ until her career began to shake in 2012. Bynes was arrested for a drunk and drive case and also getting involved in a hit and run case. She also got involves in several other hits and run incidents as for her driving with a suspended license was a fun thing to do. With Twitter rants, major incidents and legal issues surfacing and Bynes arrest in 2014 for 2nd driving under influence, Bynes’ parents filed a conservatorship and the actress was placed in temporary psychiatric hold.

    Yet another face that adds to the list is the amazing actor from ‘7th Heaven’ (1996 to 2007) Stephen Collins. Collins has also starred in ‘No Ordinary Family’, the TV series, ‘Revolution’ and many other films and TV series. Well, just being great on stage does not account for everything.


    October 2014 revealed Collins admitting to his pedophile behavior. The New York City Police Department investigated him when an audio tape was leaked in which Collins spoke about his past sexual abuse of a minor.


    In an interview with People magazine in December 2014, Collins spoke about his inappropriate sexual conduct with three female minors. Also, his ex-wife reported that Stephen admitted to his therapist of having involved in sexually abusing minor children.


    Mel Gibson

    Domestic violence, racist comments, anti- Semitic remarks and homophobic rants of Mel Gibson have been known for a long time. To add to this, Gibson was arrested for DUI (driving under influence), although initially refusing to get arrested and trying to flee. He threatened the police officers and also spoke anti-semitic words about Jews. After all these disgraces, Mel Gibson took a hiatus from his career for 10 years. He made his comeback by directing ‘Hacksaw Ridge’.


    Fame does not come easily but even a single mistake might as well ruin what actually one works so hard for.
