Vir Das was the host for one of the biggest nights of fashion in India where stars and celebrities from different professions came under one roof to celebrate the ones who set fashion trends and wowed everyone with their style. The stand-up comedian was at his best from the opening number to his ending bit where he made everyone stand up and clap for someone, who wasn't even present at the event!

He had an incredible chemistry with all the celebs who went on stage to collect their awards. The host left everyone in splits with his sense of humor and impeccable comic timing and his gigs with Farhan Akhtar , Varun Dhawan , and Akshay Kumar were some of the funniest. The opening number: As we have seen in many Awards ceremonies, the host kicked off the ceremony with a hilarious spoof on Despacito. In the song, Vir took digs at almost everyone and everything be it the selfie obsession, celebrity culture, and his own film career.

Ranveer Singh : The actor wasn't spared by the stand-up comedian and his strange and head turning fashion outfits courted numerous digs from Vir Das which left everyone roaring with laughter.

Pahlaj Nihalani: Another (in)famous Bollywood celebrity who was frequently targeted by Vir Das was the ex-CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani who was amid various controversies last year thanks to his sanksari ways and outlook.

Engineers: While chatting with Taapsee Pannu on stage who had come to collect the Rising Star Award, Vir made some of the funniest jokes on engineers and their designing capabilities if they can't find one particular thing. 

Akshay Kumar: One of the funniest bits of the night, the Marketing Head of Fiat Motors was forced to dole out a free Jeep to Akshay Kumar after being confronted by Akshay Kumar and Vir Das.
