Salman Khan has always been the superstar that he is and has ruled the box-office from his very first film as a lead. Like most superstars, Salman Khan made a successful transition from the 90s to 2000s, but there was a time when things were going quite lukewarm for Salman when in 2009 Salman did Wanted with Prabhudeva and box-office history was re-written. Not only Salman’s career received a major boost, but Salman Bhai’s release on Eid became winning phenomenon that has not failed in the last nine years.

Wanted, which was a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Pokkiri, was then remade in many other languages including Tamil, Kannada and Bengali.
