It has been almost three months that iconic actress Sridevi suddenly passed away, leaving us all in grief. Her sudden death was mourned by all. But even within all the grief, we found ways to come up with bizarre conspiracy theories surrounding her death. While initially the cause of death was said to be cardiac arrest, the reason put across after her post-mortem was 'accidental drowning'. Ever since a tamasha had started on the superstar's death.

1. The 240 crore insurance

Filmmaker Sunil Singh had come up with the information and moved Supreme  Court to reinvestigate the actress' demise. His theory- apparently Sridevi had an insurance policy worth a whopping 240 crore that would be encashed only if she passes away in Dubai! SC had quashed the appeal though.

2. Dawood Ibrahim involved in Sridevi's death?

Well, that is what retired ACP Ved Bhushan had to say. He said that the star's death was not accidental but a 'planned murder' by the underworld kingpin. In fact, he claims to have stayed in the same hotel, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, with his private investigation agency and said that the hotel is owned by Dawood himself. He also plans to move the Supreme Court to reopen the case.

3. Why did Boney Kapoor visit India in between?

Some people have even found it suspicious that Boney Kapoor had flown back to Mumbai for just a day and then went to Dubai to surprise Sridevi. They had even had a chat for 15 minutes and after that, he left. When he came back, he saw the actress lifeless in the bathroom. 

Many have made up conjectures on what made Boney Kapoor fly back to India for a day. 

4. Cardiac arrest or accidental drowning?

The family, after the actress' death, had said that she died of cardiac arrest. But after the post-mortem, it was said to be accidental drowning. This made all suspicious as to what really happened.
