5 Southern Superstars Who Are In No Mood To Try Their Luck In Bollywood
The give and take between South Indian film industries and Bollywood is no news. With a thriving popularity, great actors and a generally sound sense of movie making, South Indian films industry has given Bollywood many of its super hit stars and directors. Thus it has been extremely common for southern superstars to try their luck in Bollywood. While some like Sridevi left an indelible mark, some bombed.
However, there are also some southern superstars who never quite turned their attention to Bollywood and her happy enjoying their unparalleled success in regional films. Here are some of the biggest stars of Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries who do not look interested in Bollywood, at least as of now.
Mahesh Babu
The superstar of Telugu cinema, Mahesh Babu had all the ingredients in him to make a mark in Bollywood. However, the star has clearly announced that he will never do a Bollywood film. With his hands full with Telugu and Tamil cinema offers and innumerable brand endorsements Neither does he have the time or intent to shift his focus to Bollywood.
Anushka Shetty
She is the undisputed reigning queen of Tamil and Telugu cinema and is totally enjoying her position as one. There were reports of her rejecting Singham 2 and if reports are to believed then she even turned down Karan Johar’s queries about her dates. The position she enjoys in Tamil and Telugu industry would probably be hard to come by in Bollywood, and thus there seems no possibility that Devsena will ever sign a Bollywood film.
Nivin Pauly
You must have heard of Nivin Pauly and his Malayalam blockbuster Premam even if you are not an avid follower of Malayalam cinema. He has carved a niche himself for himself in Malayalam cinema and is now focusing entirely on it. Even though the rumors that surfaced after Anurag Kshyap posted a picture with him on social media, however, the fact that we have heard nothing about such an liaison taking place anytime soon, we are sure that Bollywood fans will have to wait longer for this fine actor to be seen in a Bollywood film
Allu Arjun
Another superstar of Telugu cinema known for his style and unreal dancing abilities, Allu Arjun also seems in no hurry to turn his attention to Bollywood. When Rohit Shetty visited the sets of his film right before Golmaal the rumors of Allu Arjun entering Bollywood was rife. But again, nothing of that sort of happened and looks like nothing is on the cards either. Plus, given his popularity in Tollywood, we are doubtful if he will ever join Bollywood.
Naga Chaitanya
Son of Telugu super star Nagarjuna also doesn’t seem to be turning his attention towards Bollywood. Although Nagarjuna has been a part of acclaimed Bollywood films such as Zakhm and his younger son Akhil is also rumored to be eyeing Bollywood, Naga Chaitanya looks comfortable in his space in Telugu films. The chances of him ever shifting his focus towards Bollywood are fairly less.
