7 Flop Bollywood Actors Who Came Back To Movies As Villains
A number of actors and actresses from Bollywood often take a sabbatical to focus on their personal lives or to concentrate on other projects or other aspects of their lives. For some actors, it's a welcome break while for a few actors it is good time to recharge themselves before they again go into the world of films. Bollywood produces a record number of films every year and a majority of these films flop at the box-office. Such a large number of films also mean that the stars appearing in those films also go unnoticed.
The industry employs a huge number of actors and every actor we see a number of newcomers debuting in films. While some become big names in the industry, a few others fade into the oblivion. There have been actors who made their debut in Bollywood a while back as leads but couldn't find success in their solo outings. Some of them took a break, others appeared in TV serials while some of them went into other fields of filmmaking and later when they came back to Bollywood, they appeared as villainous characters. Arbaaz Khan: His films as a lead continue to flop at the box-office and he had limited his screen roles to focus on production and direction. He came back to the big screen in a full-fledged villainous role in Kapil Sharma's Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon.
Armaan Kohli: He had appeared in a number of flop films before taking a break from the movies. He appeared in Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo as a villain in 2015. His last appearance before PRDP was LOC Kargil in 2003.
Sikander Kher: He has mostly featured in one box-office flop after the other and he appeared as a villain in Anil Kapoor's sitcom 24. He has signed on to play a villain in Tigmanshu Dhulia's Milan Talkies and the film is his comeback to the silver screen.
Sanjay Kapoor: The actor had mostly limited his roles to guest appearances by the late 2000s and he made his comeback in the year 2014 with a film called Kahin Hai Mera Pyar as a villain.
Neil Nitin Mukesh: The actor was concentrating on south projects as his Bollywood films as a lead were faring badly at the box office. He came back as a negative lead in Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
Aseem Merchant: He appeared as a villainous character in the year 2013 in Sunny Deol's Singh Saab The Great. Before that, his last appearance was in 2009's Aseema.
Ronit Roy: The actor had started his journey as a Bollywood actor but his films didn't do well at the box-office and he ventured into television. He came back as a negative character in Udaan in 2010.
