These 4 Upcoming Films Of John Abraham Are Proof That He Is The Ultimate Desh Bhakt!
There was a time when John Abraham could be seen in films where he would make all the girls swoon with his dimpled smile and his cute looks. But gone are those days when he would just smile and charm women in films and his romantic moves will make the hearts of the girls flutter.
But gone are those days. While he donned the role of a police officer in 2011 in Force and an Army Officer in 2013 in Madras Cafe. Post that, from 2016, he has concentrated his entire attention into films where he plays officers. In fact, he has channeled the desh bhakt inside him to the fullest. He is the modern patriot and his upcoming films are proof:
1. Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran
The film will be about the second testing of nuclear weapons at Pokhran. John will be seen in the role of Ashwat Raina, an officer who will have to carry on the mission undercover and away from the vigilant eyes of U.S. The film is all set to release on 25th May 2018.
2. Satyamev Jayate
John Abraham will be seen along with Manoj Bajpayee in Milap Zaveri's next film, that is scheduled for August 15th release this year. The film will also have debutant Aisha Sharma who will be seen opposite John.
3. Romeo Walter Akbar
Sushant Singh Rajput's loss had been John Abraham's gain. John will be seen in 2019 in the film Romeo Walter Akbar or R.A.W. The film was first offered to Sushant, but after he walked out of the project, it was given to John Abraham. It is an espionage drama which is set in the 1970s and will be directed by Robbie Grewal. The shoot will start from 1st June and will be wrapped up in 60 days. The film will release in 2019.
4. Batla House
John Abraham will join hands with Nikhil Advani for Batla House which will be based on the Batla House encounter of 2008. John will play DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, the policeman who led the 2008 Batla House encounter case. The film will release next year in all probability.
