In a time of remakes, reboots, and sequels, we will get to see David Dhawan directed Judwaa 2 this Friday. The original Judwaa was released in 1997 and was a super hit.  Varun Dhawan will be starring as twins Raja and Prem opposite Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is an action comedy on the lines of original and David Dhawan said he loved 8-10 scenes of the original so much that he decided to re-make the film again. We all have fond memories of the original and the trailer, look and music has been appreciated. There are high expectations from the film and here’s why you should be excited for Judwaa:

A reboot of Original Judwaa- The film is a reboot of the hit 1997 film starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Rambha and went on to become the 9^th highest grosser of that year. The film was widely appreciated for its comedy, songs and Salman Khan’s acting and the film is one of the go-to comedy classics of Bollywood.

Varun Dhawan- He is one of the hottest properties in Bollywood right now. He has an impeccable record and has never given a flop in his career. He has dabbled in a variety of genres and has found success in comedy as well. His film Dishoom, Main Tera Hero and Badrinath Ki Dulhania are wildly popular for their comedies.

David Dhawan- The hit director has directed comedies throughout his career. He has given some of the biggest blockbusters in the genre with films like Raja Babu, Aankhen, Judwaa, Biwi No. 1, Mujhse Shadi Karogi and Main Tera Hero etc.

Father-Son Combo- Comedy is his David Dhawan’s forte and he has already collaborated with his son once in Main Tera Hero. The film was a success and we are expecting the father-son duo will strike a chord with the audiences again.

Salman Khan- A film that is being remade again gains a lot of attention in media and among the audiences and if the original star has already blessed the new film and its stars, the news gets bigger. Salman Khan has promoted the film ever since it was announced. David Dhawan has stated that Judwaa would not be same without Salman and hence it was a given that Salman would appear in Judwaa 2 in some capacity.
