This Alia and Shahid starrer took a decent opening of 13.10 crores at the box office and was Shahid’s best opening before Padmaavat happened. However, even after a decent opening the film sunk at the box office and was one of the biggest disasters of 2015

Haider, which is widely regarded as Shahid’s best performance, managed an opening of 6.14 crore. Although the movie had a niche genre, the strong performances were talked about and the movie went on to earn 89.21 crores worldwide and was declared a hit.
