From Angrezi Medium To Roohi Afza, Check Out The Latest First Looks Of Upcoming 2020 Films Right Here

With so many incredible films releasing in 2020, the year is going to be very exciting for all movie lovers. While Hindi cinema had a pretty good run in 2019, Bollywood buffs expect it to only get better in the New Year with much-awaited films such as Kareena Kapoor and Irrfan Khan’s Angrezi Medium, Abhishek Bachchan’s Big Bull in store for us.

Much to our delight, the first looks of many upcoming films were shared today on social media and we took the liberty of combining them together for you. Check it out:

1. Angrezi Medium:

After undergoing cancer treatment for a year in London, Irrfan Khan is all set to make his comeback to the big screen with Angrezi Medium, the spin-off to his 2017 hit comedy Hindi Medium. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan in lead roles and is slated to hit theatres on 20^th March. While the individual first looks of the actors have been doing rounds on social media, their first still together was shared on a fan page today. In this shot, Irrfan can be seen explaining something to Kareena, who is reportedly playing the role of a police officer in the film.

2. The Big Bull:

Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Ileana D'Cruz and Lekha Prajapati in lead roles, The Big Bull is a financial crime-drama based on real events of the finance industry between 1990 and 2000, reportedly involving Harshad Mehta. Junior Bachchan took to his official social media handle today to share the intense first look of his film with the caption: “The Big Bull! The man who sold dreams to India.” Within a few minutes, the comment section of the post was flooded with messages from celebrities and fans praising the actor.

3. Roohi Afza:

After his 2018 blockbuster hit Stree, Rajkummar Rao is all set to hilariously scare the audience once again with the much-anticipated horror-comedy Roohi Afza. Directed by Hardik Mehta, the film also features Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma in lead roles and is scheduled to release on 17th April. It follows the story of a man's spirit who abducts brides on the night of their honeymoon. While many pictures of the actors have leaked from the sets, the first unofficial still from the film was shared today on a fan page.

4. Bhuj: The Pride of India:

Director, co-producer and writer Abhishek Dudhaiya took to his social media handle to share Ajay Devgn's first look from the war action film with the caption: “It’s a privilege to present @ajaydevgn sir’s first look as Sq. Ld. Vijay Karnik from my upcoming directorial film #BhujThePrideOfIndia. #14Aug2020.” Based on the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati, Ammy Virk, and Vidyut Jammwal.

5. Mimi:

The beautiful Kriti Sanon and the talented Pankaj Tripathi have time and again brought out the best in each other on the big screen. They are all set to wow us once again with their upcoming drama film Mimi, a remake of National Award winning Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy. Also starring Sai Tamhankar, Mimi narrates the life of a surrogate mother. In the first look of the film, Kriti can be seen sitting casually near a window wearing a suit with her hair tied back.
