Neetu Kapoor has always been the person who is closest to Ranbir who is a self-proclaimed mamma’s boy. The yesteryear actress has not explicitly said anything about the Ranbir Alia romance, she has time and again expressed her love for Alia by posting emojis on her Instagram picture. Alia also flew to London to celebrate Neetu Kapoor’s birthday with the Kapoor clan. Although among the parents Neetu is the one who has not given a clear statement about the two, from her social media emoji love with Alia we can totally understand that these two probably share the best chemistry among Ranbir Alia and their set of parents.

Rishi Kapoor’s Direct Acceptance

Say what you will about Rishi Kapoor, but no one can accuse of him of not being direct and straightforward. When asked about Ranbir’s marriage plans and his romance with Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor gave a no hold barred answer as always. He said that even he thinks that its high time for Ranbir to get married. When specifically asked about whether he approves of Alia Bhatt as Ranbir’s partner he said, “It’s Ranbir’s life. Who he wants to get married to is his prerogative,” he said. “Neetu likes her, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can’t be judgmental. After all, my uncles Shammiji (Shammi Kapoor) and Shashiji (Shashi Kapoor) and I chose our life partners. Ranbir is entitled to choose his.”

Ask any question to Mahesh Bhatt and you can always expect a very eloquent and academic sounding reply and it was not any different when he was asked about his opinion on Ranbir and Alia’s relationship. In his full on Mahesh Bhatt-esque style, he said, “It’s very obvious that they are making no bones about talking to people about them being intimate. And I don’t belong to that category of parents who’d advise their children about their personal choices. Alia is an adult and it’s a matter that she has to resolve. It’s their life, their space. I respect and admire them for choosing to talk to the world when, and if, they want to do.”

Soni Razdan’s Clear Acceptance

Alia’s mother Soni Razdan has always been a quiet personality but recently even she chose to break her silence on her daughter Alia dating Kapoor scion Ranbir. She said, “I have a very good relationship with my daughter. I don’t go by what rumors say, I talk to her directly. We have had discussions on what’s going on or not going on in her life. It’s her life at the end of the day, so I am happy to let her live it the way she wants to.”When specifically asked about Ranbir, she added that she has worked with Rishiji and has also known Neetu Singh Kapoor and Ranbir for ages and she thinks that “Ranbir is a lovely, lovely boy.”
