Watch: Rajeev Sen’s Family Extends A Warm Welcome To New Bride Charu Asopa

After a dreamy and romantic wedding in Goa, Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen are finally back in Mumbai. The newlyweds were extended a warm welcome from Rajeev’s family who arranged for a traditional ‘Griha Pravesh’ ceremony for them.

Charu Asopa’s mother, Neelam Asopa shared a video on her Instagram handle where we can see Rajeev’s family performing the traditional Bengali ‘bou baran’ ritual. Charu can be seen dressed like a newly wedded bride in her red saree while Rajeev stuck to a simple kurta-pyajama for the event.

In the video, we can see Charu dipping her feet in the alta water and stepping inside the house on white cloth.

The two got married at a beautiful three day ceremony in Goa that was performed according to Bengali rituals.

While the family members looked excited to welcome the bride into the family, Charu and Rajeev can be seen smiling throughout the ceremony.

The duo is planning to leave for a lavish honeymoon to Europe and we can’t wait to see all the gorgeous and romantic pictures from their European honeymoon.
