125 crores INR is Salman Khan's discounted fee for Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, see what he charges otherwise

Salman Khan has been a superstar for decades now and needless to say, he comes with a hefty pricetag. Producers who want him on their films have to be ready to shell out a huge sum to get the actor on board, besides giving him a script that he would love. But it is also not for nothing that he is called bhaijaan! The actor agreed to take a price slash for the upcoming film Kabhi Eiud Kabhi Diwali, which is being backed by Sajid Nadiadwala.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan took a 15% price slash and would now be charging 125 crores INR!!! What's his remuneration then, you may ask. Well, it's a whopping 150 crores INR. A source told the portal, "Salman Khan is all ready to commence work on Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali from January. When the superstar met Sajid Nadiadwala to decide on the dates, the producer made a special request to Salman, which he couldn't say a no to. Sajid spoke to Salman and requested him to reduce his remuneration as the market scenario is bad and Salman willingly agreed to do it for his friend, Sajid. Salman has now agreed to be a part of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali with a remuneration of Rs. 125 crores only, thereby giving a discount of near about 15% to his producer friend. He will however get some share of profits once the film releases, which is the reason why his banner, SKF too, is involved in the film."

It's not just Salman who took a pay cut for Sajid Nadiadwala. He had also convinced Akshay Kumar to do Bachchan Panday for 99 crores INR instead of 117 crores INR that he generally charges. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
