Mani Ratnam is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after filmmakers of the Indian film industry and working with him is like a dream come true for any actor. One of his most loved masterpieces was the 2004 film Yuva which follows the lives of students as they enter the complicated world of politics. Celebrating the milestone of the film, Abhishek took to his social media handle to share a special behind the scenes picture with his co-star Ajay. This photograph was clicked before the climax of Yuva was shot. Along with the snap, junior Bachchan penned a heartfelt note remembering Kolkata, which was recently hit by Cyclone Amphan. He shared: “Wow! 16yrs already. This photo was taken on the sets of #Yuva in Kolkata. We were about to begin shooting the climax of the film. A memorable shoot. Based in Kolkata. It’s heartbreaking to see the visuals coming out of Kolkata in the wake of the destruction left behind by #cycloneAmphan.”

Rani, on the other hand, remembered the most memorable compliment she got for her performance by her all-time favorite superstar Shammi Kapoor. In a chat with Mid-Day, the actress shared, “One of my favourite songs from the film is Kabhi Neem Neem, Kabhi Shahad Shahad and it's still one of my favourite songs till date! Just the way Madhushree sang it, just the way A.R. Rahman composed it and of course the way Brinda the choreographer and Mani Ratnam sir picturised the song and Ravi K shot it, was just magical. I distinctly remember, one of my all-time favourite actors, Shammiji calling me and telling me about the Kabhi Neem Neem song! He told me how much he loved my performance specially the part where I am sitting on the chair and I am reacting to Abhishek's dance.”
