However, in this process, Bollywood has always tried to proplel many stereotypes. These are the most common NRI stereotypes that we have Bollywood to blame for.

Bratty

Raj from DDLJ, Jazz from Namastey London or Suman Ranganathan from Aa Ab Laut Chalein, guess what is common about them? They are all NRIs and all of them are bratty. Bollywood has rarely shown NRI characters who are not bratty and often ill-behaved. Why so mean to NRIs Bollywood?
