Four years after making his debut in Bollywood with Habib Faisal's film Qaidi Band, Aadar Jain shined on-screen once again in his recently released comedy Hello Charlie. Other than the premiere of his film, the past one year has been very challenging for Aadar and his family. While the pandemic took over the world, the actor lost his aunt Ritu Nanda and his uncles Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. However, their family is close knit which is why they were able to support one another and helped each other through this difficult time.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Aadar remembered his uncle and late superstar Rishi Kapoor. He was quoted saying, “I can’t pick one memory simply because being with him was always awesome. A couple of years ago, when my first film came out, he watched it and even clapped for me. It was so inspirational, not only because he was my uncle, but also for his experience in the industry. On a personal level, he has been an inspiration for me and not just as an actor. Every single day spent with him is now a fond memory. He was large-hearted and larger-than-life.”

Aadar shared that they often hung out together and enjoyed junglee mutton among other dishes, as their family is fond of eating. Talking about his equation with Rishi’s son Ranbir Kapoor, Aadar shared, “Ranbir is my brother and we are just like any other sibling. Whether it is Kareena, Karisma, Ranbir, or Armaan, we all love each other to death. We are all in a similar profession and our job keeps us away, but given a chance, we all come together for family functions and festivals. We all love hanging out together.”

As they say, family is all that matters in the end!
