Advait Chandan’s Laal Singh Chaddha is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most awaited Bollywood films of the year. An adaptation of the 1994 film Forrest Gump, the comedy drama stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead along with their 3 Idiots co-star Mona Singh and South superstar Naga Chaitanya. Well, a lot of hard work has gone into the making of the film and Aamir even switched off his phone till the end of shooting, to avoid any distractions. However, like most other projects, it came to an abrupt halt due to COVID-19.

Well much to our delight, Aamir has resumed shoot today in Mumbai! In a report shared by Bollywood Hungama, a source was quoted saying, “Aamir will resume the shoot of his ambitious film, Laal Singh Chaddha, from today, in Mumbai. It’s a small schedule and won’t last for long. Aamir and director Advait Chandan decided to shoot as they realized that despite the limitations, they will be able to finish filming some portions. All precautions have been taken and they are shooting with minimal crew.”

Despite a decrease in the number of cases, the pandemic continues to play a villain in our lives. Hence, taking precautions is of the utmost importance. Shooting in Mumbai, which falls in Level 3, can take place only in a bubble till 5 pm in the evening. Many filmmakers have decided to wait till the city comes down to Level 1 or 2.
