Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha Won’t Be Shot In Ladakh Due To Indo-China Clash

Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha has been in the news for the longest time now. Firstly, because of it being a remake of the much-acclaimed Tom Hanks starred Forrest Gump and also because the film is based on the Indo-Pak partition.

Aamir Khan is the actor-producer for the film and it is being helmed by Advait Chauhan. The film has already been taken to Kolkata, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, and Amritsar so far. As of now, the two pending schedules are the ones to be shot in Delhi and Ladakh. But due to the Indo-China border tensions in Ladakh, the film will not be shot there.

A source close to the film revealed to Mid-Day, "Given the current scenario, shooting in Ladakh is out of the question. So, Aamir, Advait, and the top brass at the studio are considering shifting the venue to Kargil. The final call will be taken in the coming weeks."
