Aankhen 2: Amitabh Bachchan To Share Screen With Sidharth Malhotra But Producer Gaurang Doshi No Longer To Be A Part?

For quite a long time, it has been said that Aankhen 2 is in process and would be made soon. Initially, Amitabh Bachchan was to work with Anil Kapoor, then it was taken to Saif Ali Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez and sometime later, it came back to Amitabh Bachchan. It was also being said that Kartik Aaryan might share the screen with Big B. Now, the name of another Gen Y actor has come up.

It is none other than Sidharth Malhotra. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Sidharth had been approached for the film and he seems to have given his nod. A source said, "The team has now approached Sidharth Malhotra to come on board for the project. Big B has already given his nod to the film. Taking it ahead from the previous film, the second part will be a completely original script but will have the same essence and thrill elements of the original. Sidharth will essay the role of a blind man here whereas it needs to be seen if Big B plays the main villain or a protagonist this time."

However, producer Gaurang Doshi wouldn't be a part of the film anymore. There have been quite a few legal problems that the current producers had gotten embroiled in. So they will pay Gaurang a particular amount and go ahead without him. We just hope the news actually turns out to be true!
