Abhishek Bachchan Recalls How He Caught Rishi Kapoor Following A Gossip Site; The Reason Had To Do With Ranbir Kapoor

It has been nearly a year since veteran star Rishi Kapoor died. The actor who is fondly remembered by his fans and family was known for his no filter responses in real life as much as his brilliance on screen. Actor Abhishek Bachchan who worked with the star in films All Is Well and Delhi 6 had a fun anecdote to share about the late actor recently during an interview.

Abhishek revealed how Rishi Kapoor would keep a tab on his son Ranbir Kapoor’s life by following a gossip site. The Big Bull star while talking to Film Companion shared, “We were shooting in Shimla, and in the morning, I went to his room because I used to sit and have coffee with him in the morning. I walked into the room and he was in his lungi, he had these small glasses and he was on his computer. I found that very cute from behind, this visual.”

The actor added that he went up to Rishi and asked what he was upto, he told him about the gossip site he was reading and said, “the only way I can tell what Ranbir is doing.”

Abhishek who was amazed at learning this added, “And I am like, ‘This guy, he is amazing! He had no filter. He would just say it.’ So, he was following (the site) to know what Ranbir was up to. I found that so sweet.”

Abhishek’s father Amitabh Bahchchan and Rishi Kapoor go way back and worked together on several films. They were rather close friends and the Guru actor who fondly called the actor ‘Chintu uncle’ had called the loss ‘too personal’ when the actor died late year after battling leukemia for two years.
