Actor & Model Paula Claims Sajid Khan Asked Her To Strip For A Role In Housefull When She Was Still A Minor In A #MeToo Post

The Me Too movement in Bollywood brought down many big celebrities. While the sexual harassment and casting couch stories have slowed down there are many more that yet remain untold. Now, model and actress Paula in an Instagram post has shared her shocking experience with filmmaker Sajid Khan who she claims asked her to strip infront of him to get a role in his Housefull franchise.

In a long post Paula explained her reason for speaking out now and wrote, “Before democracy dies and there is no freedom of speech anymore I thought I should speak!”

In the very beginning of her post she claims that her family was the reason why she kept quiet for so long and now that she doesn’t have them, “I can dare to tell that I have been harassed by Sajid Khan at the age of 17.”

Narrating the tale of how Sajid sexually harassed her Paula states, “He spoke dirty to me. He tried to touch me. He even told me to strip in front of him just to get a role in his upcoming Housefull movie.”

She goes on to add, “God knows with how many girls he has done this. I am coming out now not for any pity party. It’s just that I realised that had affected me so bad when I was a child and chose not to speak. But it’s high time no? These Bastards should be behind bars not only for casting couch but also for manipulating and for stealing away your dreams. But I did not stop!! But the wrong I did was not to speak about it!”

Sajid Khan was also named and shamed by various other women in 2018 which led him to be dropped from the making of his own film Housefull 4. The filmmaker hasn’t made any movies since.
