Adipurush: Ajay Devgn To Join Prabhas And Saif Ali Khan In Om Raut’s Film As Lord Shiva?

After winning hearts with his super hit film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, filmmaker Om Raut has now joined hands with South superstar Prabhas for his next masterpiece Adipurush. Based on Ramayana, the film will celebrate the victory of good over evil. While Prabhas will play the role of Lord Ram, Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has been roped in to portray the character of Lankesh aka Ravana. Well, a few reports recently revealed that not Saif, but Tanhaji actor Ajay Devgn was the first choice for the antagonist’s role.

That’s right! Reports suggested that Raut had initially offered Ajay the role of Lankesh but due to date issues the actor had politely said no. Well, latest buzz is that the actor will now join Prabhas and Saif on screen in another role. Ajay will reportedly portray the character of Lord Shiva in Adipurush! If these reports are true, we can expect the film to be a hit just like Tanhaji. However, no official confirmation has been shared yet.

While it was initially suggested that Anushka Sharma will be playing the role of Sita Maa in the film opposite Prabhas, latest buzz is that Kiara Advani is in talks with the makers. Adipurush will be going on floors sometime next year and hopefully we’ll soon get to know the final cast of the film!
