Adipurush: Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan Starrer's Release Date Out; To Hit The Theatres in August 2022

Ever since the film had been announced, we had been super excited about Om Raut's next, Adipurush. Not only will it have Prabhas portraying the character of Ram, but this story of good winning over evil will have Saif Ali Khan playing Lankesh. While watching them clash would be a treat in itself, the makers have spiked our excitement with a brand new announcement again. This time, they have revealed the release date.

The film would be releasing in 2022 is something we had already guessed. Now the exact date is out. The film would hit the theatres on the 11th of August, 2022. It would be going on floors in January next year. Check out the announcement post here:

The makers are still on the lookout for an A-lister heroine to be cast as Sita in the film. Names of actresses like Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon had come up, but those were mere rumours. It was also being said that Ajay Devgn, who had teamed up with director Om Raut for Tanhaji, would play a part, but that too turned out to be untrue. Well, we can brace ourselves for quite a few more upcoming announcements from the team of Adipurush.
