After Baaghi 3 Tiger Shroff To Begin Shooting For Heropanti 2 Instead Of Rambo Remake?

The handsome and very talented Tiger Shroff is all set to wow us yet again with his killer action and stunts in the much-awaited Baaghi 3. Also featuring Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor, the action thriller is directed by Ahmed Khan, produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and is slated to hit theatres on 6^th March. While buzz was that the actor will begin shooting for the remake of Rambo next, latest reports suggest that the film has been put on hold because of another project.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, a source revealed, “After Baaghi 3, Tiger was supposed to begin work on the Rambo remake, to be directed by Siddharth Anand. But that has been pushed ahead one more time, as Tiger has decided to do another film under Sajid Nadiadwala's banner.” Much to the delight of fans, the said project will be a sequel to Tiger’s debut film Heropanti. The source continued to say, “NGE had been planning to make Heropanti a franchise for the last one year and they have finally found the perfect script that seamlessly fits into the mould of the actioner. Heropanti 2 will also have Tiger playing the lead role, reprising his character from the original which also happened to be his Bollywood debut.”

The romantic action comedy was directed by Sabbir Khan and also marked the debut of actress Kriti Sanon. While it is yet to be seen if the actress will be a part of the sequel, the source revealed that Ahmed Khan has been chosen to direct Heropanti 2. The report stated, “The production house has a long standing relationship with Ahmed and are extremely confident of the Tiger-Ahmed pairing. Together, they delivered a 175 crore plus Baaghi 2 and now, with Baaghi 3, they have taken the film few notches higher. Trade pundits feel Baaghi 3 will have record breaking business as well, so Sajid felt it's the right time to get both his in-house talents to come together for Heropanti 2. The film goes on floors around May 2020.”
