After his mother's funeral Akshay Kumar arrives to pay condolences to Aanand L. Rai who also lost this mother this morning

Akshay Kumar lost his mother Aruna Bhatia this morning and shared the heartbreaking news with his followers. The actor had returned from London two days ago owing to his mother’s ill health, performed the last rites of his mother at the Pawn Hans crematorium.

Not just Akshay but filmmaker Aanand L. Rai too lost this mother this morning. The filmmaker has directed Akshay in the recently concluded film Rakshabandhan for the second time after Atrangi Re. Akshay after his mother’s funeral arrived to pay his last respects and be at Aanand’s side.

The actor was spotted outside the Oshiwara crematorium where Aanand’s mother’s last rites were to be performed in the afternoon.

On Tuesday morning, Akshay had tweeted, “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti.”

The actor and his family were spotted earlier at his mother’s funeral which was also attended by celebritires like Bhushan Kumar, Ramesh Turani, Riteish Deshmukh, Sajid Khan, R Balki among others.
