After His Own Issues, Shah Rukh Khan To Now Star In A Light Hearted Film Based On Immigration With Rajkumar Hirani?

The biggest question in Bollywood right now that is haunting almost everyone is when is Shah Rukh Khan coming back on the big screen. While there has been confirmations that he will be working with Raaj and DK, there are also reports that he would collaborate with Rajkumar Hirani. Now, we are getting to hear that the film is confirmed and it would be a light hearted film about immigration.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the film will be a light hearted film with a deep dramatic core. A source was quoted saying, “Rajkumar Hirani Productions and Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment will co-produce the SRK starrer. Hirani’s regular writer Parijat Joshi will script the film which is about immigration. It will be a light-hearted film, but would have a deep dramatic core to it. Most importantly, it is something Shah Rukh has not done before.”

This time, the film will not be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. We wonder if the film would be inspired by Shah Rukh Khan’s real experience at the US immigrations. Well, we are just so happy that Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani would finally be collaborating. In fact, it would have happened with Munnabhai MBBS, but SRK rejected the opportunity. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the official confirmation.
