After netizens slam Shehnaaz for her tribute to Sidharth Shukla, Aly Goni comes out in support; says ‘I loved that song’

After Sidharth Shukla’s untimely demise, we all saw how badly affected Shehnaaz Gill was. She looked shattered as she lifelessly stood in a corner during his last rites and celebs who met her revealed that she is not doing good. For over a month she did not interact with anyone on social media, and also took a break from work. While fans remembered Sidharth on social media, Shehnaaz mourned him in private. Well, yesterday the singer paid a special tribute to her BFF with her song Tu Yaheen Hai.

While many fell in love with this emotional track, there were a few who accused the singer of ‘using’ Sidharth’s name for her benefit. Shocking, isn’t it? Well, a fan recently shared a tweet asking people to ‘STOP USING SIDHARTH SHUKLA’, along with a screenshot of Shehnaaz’s song. Replying to this, Bigg Boss 14 contestant Aly Goni wrote: “Stop it guys seriously.” In another tweet, he added, “I think there is misunderstanding in my last tweet.. first of all Shehnaz ka poora Haq banta hai to tribute and I loved that song.. secondly that tweet was for those people who drag Sid in the name of cover songs reels and all. Jo uss tweet mein mention tha.. #peaceout.”

Back in September after Sidharth’s demise, when Aly met Shehnaaz he was heartbroken to see the state she was in. He had opened up about the same in a tweet which read: “Chehra jo hamesha haste hue dekha.. khush dekha... lekin aaj jaisa dekha bass dil toot gaya... stay strong sana.. #numb #heartbroken.”

We know that this is not an easy situation to be in and wish Shehnaaz all the strength and peace in the world.
