Ajay Devgn Says His Family Life Was Disrupted In 2020, Sums Up the Year As 'A Complete Mix Of Emotions'

Ajay Devgn is the only Bollywood mega star who tasted success at the box office this year with his film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior emerging a blockbuster back at the very onset of 2020. Having said that the actor’s schedule for the year was heavily disrupted like everyone else’s right from his other releases to his shoots to his family life.

Talking to Hindustan Times about how his year has been the actor summed it saying, “I don’t know what to call 2020. You can it eventful or you can call it uneventful. By the time we adjusted to the lens through which to look at the pandemic, our viewpoints changed. Through the year, I had many reasons to be happy. For example, January gave me Tanhaji, December gave me MayDay (my next directorial). In between, like the global fraternity, I had moments of anxiety and frustration. Work came to a stand through the months of April to October."

"My family life was disrupted. My daughter, Nysa studies in Singapore so she is away from me. Kajol is with her. My son Yug and I are together with my mother. It was a complete mix of emotions," the actor added about his personal life.

The Bhuj actor prayed that film industry bounces back soon and that blockbuster days return. The actor is now keeping himself busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Mayday starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh which he will be directing.
