Ajay Devgn Walks Out Of Luv Ranjan's Next With Ranbir Kapoor And Deepika Padukone?

Luv Rajan’s next starring Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor has been on rocky grounds ever since it was announced in May 2018. The film is still said to be on the scripting stage while the two male leads in the film have been keeping increasingly busy with their individual schedules with Ranbir busy working on Bramhastra and Shamshera while Ajay has his hands on multiple projects including Bhuj The Pride Of India, Taanhaji, Chanakya, and RRR.

Meanwhile the news for fans looking forward to Luv Ranjan’s project has only been distressing in the recent times. First the news of the film being shelved came out and had us worrying but while those rumours were shot down, now news is that even though the project is happening, Ajay Devgn has opted out of the film due to date issues. According a Bollywood Hungama report a trade source has revealed that due to a very busy 2020 Ajay wants to give his dates to Chanakya instead. “Luv Ranjan’s film was originally scheduled to begin in 2018, was pushed to April 2019 and now, it has been pushed to mid-2020, going by reports in media, as the final draft is being finalised. The untitled big budget entertainer will have some high-octane stunts and will be shot in India and abroad. Ajay has a hectic schedule this year and in 2020” the source told the portal.” The source further added “It now remains to be seen whether Ajay has chosen Chanakya over Luv’s movie but definitely, his role in Chanakya is one any actor would be thrilled to have in his repertoire!”

The report further states that Ajay isn’t too pleased with how the script is developing either with the story revolving around Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor.

While there has been no confirmation from Ajya’s end or from the production but if these reports are true then the project might be under threat of being shelved or has a really bumpy ride ahead given the insanely hectic schedules of the two stars.
