Akshay Kumar Helps TV Actress Nupur Alankar With Financial Woes After Renuka Shahane Asks For Help On Her Behalf

Actress Renuka Shahne had some time ago asked friends and followers on Facebook to help her friend and TV actress Nupur Alankar’s who has been going through a financial crisis meanwhile struggling to support her ailing mother. Nupur’s savings got stuck in the PMC bank crisis and the lockdown dried up her income from acting as the work came to a halt.

Renuka’s plea was heard by superstar Akshay Kumar who came to Nupur’s aid and who not only helped her out financially but also got her mother the best treatment possible. Renuka shared a long post taking the superstar for his generosity and appealed her followers not to contribute any further.

Akshay called Renuka’s husband Ashutosh Rana and asked the actress the amount Nupur needed and then topped if off with more. A greatful renuka wrote in her post, “He called Ranaji for details about what I had shared. He asked how much Nupur needed. I told him the amount she had asked for and he told me that it will be done. And it was & topped up with more. I thanked him for his generosity and he said only one sentence in Marathi, ” मला धन्यवाद नको, तिची आई बरी व्हायला पाहिजे, बस” (“Please don’t thank me, her mother should get well, that’s it”).

Moved by his generosity Renuka thanked him saying, “This angel is none other than superstar @akshaykumar A man with a heart of pure, unadulterated gold.
