Akshay Kumar-Kriti Sanon Starrer Bachchan Pandey To Go On Floors in January In Jaisalmer; Read Details

Akshay Kumar seems to be in a non-stop work mode and looks like we can say the same about his Bachchan Pandey co-star Kriti Sanon. The two have been working on projects they have signed, but come January and they would join each other and director Fahad Samji in Jaisalmer for the shoot of Bachchan Pandey. Yes, the film is all set to roll from Jan next year.

The trio will shoot in Jaisalmer for a 60-day long schedule. Akshay Kumar will play a gangster and Kriti will portray a journalist once again. Their paths would cross since Akshay's character is a wannabe actor and Kriti's wants to be a director. According to a source quoted by Mirror, “Akshay is looking forward to exploring the crime space that elicits laughs. His get-up will be high on prosthetics.” The same source also added that another actress will be joining the team within a fortnight, but the name has not yet been finalised.

The team would also be strictly adhering to safety protocols during the times of COVID-19. The film would be shot in real locations and that's the reason the crew would be taking extra precautions. Right now, Akshay has been working on his first period film, Prithviraj, in Mumbai, after which he would finish his part in Atrangi Re. Kriti, on the other hand, would be working with Rajkummar Rao for Dinesh Vijan's next, tentatively titled Hum Do Humaare Do, before leaving for Jaisalmer.
